Family reunification to Denmark
Family reunification allows you to bring your family members to Denmark to live with you. To be eligible, you must be a Danish citizen, have a permanent residence permit, or be a refugee.
Common family members eligible for family reunification include:

The process of family reunification involves:
- Document Preparation: Gathering all necessary documents, such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, and proof of financial support.
- Application Submission: Submitting the application to the Danish Immigration Service.
- Processing and Decision-Making: Waiting for a decision from the Danish Immigration Service.
Processing time
At the moment, the processing time for an application for family reunification is 7 months from when the application is lodged with the Danish Immigration services.
Family reunification under EU rules
